In addition to his extensive background in the medical field, Dr. Jain is also a practicing radiologist. He joined Oakwood Hospital – Wayne in 1982 as chief of Radiology. He also served on the hospital’s Quality Assurance Committee and on its board of trustees. His prestigious appointments have earned him the respect of his peers and industry peers. He is a member of several national and international organizations. As the CEO of a medical center, Ashok has a profound understanding of the importance of delivering excellent patient care.
Among his many awards and accolades, Ashok has won multiple national and international honors. In addition to the World Economic Forum and the UN General Assembly, he has received the National Medal of Technology for his work. The World Economic Forum (WEF) has rated Ashok’s contributions to sustainability as a “Leader in Engineering” by The Economist. While serving in the NITI Aayog, Dr. Jain is a renowned leader in the field of business and policy.
Dr. Ashok Jain is the senior vice president and chief medical officer of Oakwood Hospital – Wayne. He is responsible for the overall performance of the hospital and the development of its clinical activities strategic plan. After graduation, Dr. Jain joined Oakwood Hospital – Wayne as a medical resident. He held various important positions, including Divisional Forest Officer, Conservator of Forests, Special Commissioner of DPAP, and Member of the board of trustees.
In addition to being an accomplished medical executive, Dr. Ashok Jain has a distinguished career. He has been a member of the Oakwood board of trustees and served as chief of Radiology at Oakwood Hospital – Wayne. During his time at the hospital, he has a long list of accomplishments, including his many research papers and contributions to the industry. He is also a sought-after speaker at conferences and has been appointed as a senior vice president.
Dr. Ashok Jain holds an MBA from Arizona State University and an MS in Aerospace and Applied Mechanics from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Certified Systems Engineering Professional and a Six Sigma Black Belt. While working in the aerospace and defense industry, Ashok has held several leadership roles and has been recognized internationally. While at the University of Cincinnati, he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on systems engineering.
